Traveler’s Sacred Seals are very rare in Champions of the Continent. And these seals can be used as a substitute for Rubies on the Guide page, which allows you to pull for units in the Standard Banner.
What are Traveler’s Sacred Seals Used For?
You can use Traveler’s Sacred Seals in the Sacred Guidance Banner, which only shows up on the Guide Page if you have at least one Traveler’s Sacred Seal in your Inventory. The units in the Sacred Guidance Banner are the same as in the Standard Banner (non-paid Chance Encounters), which means most upcoming units will be added to the general unit pool eventually. Here are the rates for each unit rarity in the Sacred Guidance Banner:
Where To Get Traveler’s Sacred Seals
Traveler’s Sacred Seals are one of the rarest resources in the game. You can only get them from three sources:
Source #1: Feats
As a beginner, your main source of Traveler’s Sacred Seals will be your Feats. More specifically, the Novice Tasks located on your Feats Page. Here, you can get up to two Traveler’s Sacred Seals per completed task. TIP: You only have to finish the first chapter of all three Main Story Quest paths to claim most of these Traveler’s Sacred Seals.
Source #2: Giveaway Rewards
Luckily for us players, the devs are generous enough to give away Traveler’s Sacred Seals once in a while. You may receive them either as welcome rewards, compensation rewards, event rewards, or even as milestone rewards. Keep your eyes peeled! TIP: You’ll find it easier to keep track of giveaways like these if you join Octopath Traveler: COTC’s Discord channel. See you there!
Source #3: Special Shop
Don’t mind spending some money on extra pulls? All you have to do is go over to the game’s premium shop — the Special Shop — and buy any packs that contain Traveler’s Sacred Seals! The best deal/bundle to buy if you want some Traveler’s Sacred Seals is the Novice’s Pack. This pack will cost you over $49.99 — a fairly decent price considering the pack comes with ten Traveler’s Sacred Seals, one Sage’s Brooch II, and 500 Rubies. Note: Remember that you don’t need to purchase anything at all if you want to excel in the game, and premium packs like these are completely optional. And Octopath Traveler: COTC is a single-player game. So you can beat it at your own pace — even without multiple 5★ or maxed-out units.
